LITCHFIELD, Neb. – A days-old black Angus calf romps about a central Nebraska farm just like any other – only this one romps with six legs.

"He's a real freak," said Brian Slocum, who said the calf was born Sunday to one of his cows. "I've never seen anything like this before.''

The two extra appendages – one a front leg, the other a back – extend from the calf's pelvic area. The longer of the two extra legs doesn't quite reach the ground, and they don't interfere with the calf's mobility.

The unnamed calf also has organs for both sexes and a surgically supplied rectum.

David Smith, a veterinary specialist at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, said the calf's twin sexes indicate the embryos for what might have been fraternal twins likely fused during development, producing one calf with extra parts.

Such calves are rare, usually plagued with internal problems and don't live long, cattle experts say.

But so far, Slocum said, the 85-pound calf seems as frisky as the others born on his farm.

"I'm curious to see what happens," he said.

That picture looks EXTREMELY photoshopped...
DrakeN
AND they don't even use the term hermaphrodite anymore.
Foobs
The picture is definitely fake. The article is seeming to be fake as well.

That picture looks EXTREMELY photoshopped...

The two hooves at the back aren't copied from any of the other ones, they're all different.
Not saying it's not photoshopped, but if it is, it's a good job.

If it isn't: That's HOT.
aussieash
i feel sorry for the calf. haha
rawrrcore
the world is all fucked up =/
boobookittyf*ck
Get over it, haven't you ever been born with 2 extra legs? Come on.

IT'S NOT UNCOMMON.
frdyk
Awww, poor calf...But the leg fur doesn't seem to run through to the other leg though...But my eyes lie to me sometimes.
Evil_thing_999
I wonder if you can milk a hermaphordite cow. I wonder what it's milk tastes like.

I'm guessing both delicious and nutritious. Lots of calcium and protein.

That's sad! Poor calf; how would ya'll like having extra legs comin out of ya'll's groin! Poor thing. I would try to have those legs removed. sad.gif

that is weird, i thought the article was fake, but if you look at the main source, it's the toronto star and it's a general news site. it actually might be real.
-smosh-fan-
ohmy.gif poor calf...
Axel2992
So, the picture looks fake. Also, it's so unbelievable. The odds that a cow would have 6 legs, and also be a hermaphrodyte with no asshole must be like one in a billion. I'm not buying it.
PsychoWithaStick
awww...poor thing. sad.gif
BriTiSh~
They probably made it eat chemicals that made it's blood go weird and make it get lots of things it shouldn't have.
Tortilinie_ShelZoid
this made me so happy.
i must meet this cow.
