The
Graffiti Research Lab focuses on giving graffiti artists an open source of technology for urban communication. Which means, new ways of spreading messages on walls, and other things.
The G.R.L doesn't use paint per-say, but uses technology such as their "LASER tag" system. Which records motions from an artist to a computer, then outputs the artists work on huge surfaces using a special projector. Watch the attempts to capture graffiti "drips" in motion from what they call the
"Drip Sessions". Amazing.
More recent projects include writing on a massive building using a green laser (which is highly illegal in most states) and stays illuminated on a building. Watch it
