Can you play any games with people if you have them added with a wii code? Or is it just for messages/Mii stuff right now?
Only messages and Miis. I hope it eventually leads to online gaming, but somehow I don't see it happening.

WiFi? Yes they sell nintendo-branded USB Wifi Dongles, but chances are you have a wireless router in your home already.

I don't see why all you people think that'd be great. Having online multiplayer in Wii sports would kinda defeat the entire reason why playing with other people on the wii is fun. Because it's with your friends, in the same room. Playing online wouldn't have the same kind of fun factor playing with your friends in real life would.

From the Wii menu, go to the message board (envelope) >> Create Message >> Address Book >> Register
You need an active internet connection to the Wii obviously, or you'll get an error.

I've had loads of fun playing Tetris multiplayer. When me and my friends play something on our DS's together, that gets played more than Mario Kart.
Despite the online being kinda nerfed compared to the local multiplayer, it's still a really fun game with friends.
Also, got Planet Puzzle League today, check my first post for FC if you care.
They have online gaming now, the Pokemon stuff. soon the My Sims thing and the Wii Animal Crossing.

Yeah, it was really horrible.......but there will be better shooters to come.....like an exclusive resident evil game for the wii.
