Well, it sounds like you were in a dreamstate. Hypnogogia (the state between consciousness and sleep) is similar to hypnopompia (between sleep and consciousness or wakefulness) and whatever was happening during your dream was probably causing your shaking.
Dreams can cause some very interesting physical states. I would not worry about it if I were you. It's interesting, yes. But it's nothing to worry about.
