Heh, I've been playing for about a year now, too. One of my friends has been playing the drums for about 2-3 years now, and he says I'm pretty good for my first year.
Yeah, my mom always wanted me to play the guitar.
She's actually WILLING to buy me a guitar.
It's kind of wierd because usually parents say, "Sorry, but this is too expensive", or something like that. Haha, but my mom still wants to buy me a guitar.
I keep telling my mom that I want a drum set, (I don't have one, but I practice on a whole bunch of pillows in my room. XD) but she says she wants me to get a guitar instead because we don't have enough room for one.
Oh, yes. I am in a band. But I'm the singer. hahaha
