51-Year-Old 'Lost' Actor Marries 16-Year-Old

It's the oldest story in the book... handsome, wealthy, older male "celebrity" meets beautiful young bombshell... They fall in love... He pays all her bills, and buys her expensive purses and nice clothes and she looks good on his arm at awards ceremonies and red carpets...

Things go well for a while, (until they don't) and then she gets knocked up just as the relationship is about to end, leaves him and he pays all her bills for the rest of eternity.

53-year-old Alec Baldwin took 28-year-old yoga instructor and hottie Hilaria Thomas to the Tony Awards recently. Rumor is that they were all over each other. Could this be true love?

Jay-Z is 12 years older than his wife Beyonce. Nobody seems to have a problem with that.

George Clooney is 50 while his long-time girlfriend Elisabetta Canalis is only 32.

So when "Green Mile" and "Lost" actor Doug Hutchison married a younger woman nobody seemed very surprised.

Until they found out that younger woman was 16-year-old "Country Singer" Courtney Stodden... Oh, did I forget to mention that Doug is 51?

Grandpappy & Courtney issued a statement through their spokeswoman saying, "We're aware that our vast age difference is extremely controversial, but we're very much in love and want to get the message out there that true love can be ageless."

I mean, come on guys! She's probably a lot smarter than she looks. They probably have really interesting conversations and talk about all variety of fascinating subjects.

Or maybe not. Also she's a virgin and her breasts are totally rill you guys.

Courtney's dad likely gave his consent for the marriage since they were married in Vegas where the legal marrying age is 18. Her father Alex said, “Courtney is one of the most level headed girls out there and I’m not just saying that because she’s my daughter. Doug is the nicest man I’ve ever met in my life." Wow, this guy Alex oughta get out more.

Okay, so she claims to be a "Country Singer." What about this song is country? And it seems that she's just a country singer on Facebook, MySpace and YouTube. To be honest I'm not impressed enough to do more research into her musical career. I feel like I've pretty much seen enough of Courtney Stodden. Nobody had ever heard of her till she married this old dude. So for her it was a career move... what's his excuse? I think that this love story has convince me that love CAN be timeless... it can also be strategic.

So what do you think about this much older guy marrying a minor? Do you believe that love is truly ageless? Are you still laughing from watching that last video?
