America Is Into: Bret Michaels

Former Poison Front man, Bret Michaels had been gracing our TVs periodically with his VH1 dating show Rock of Love, for the past few years now. It's been good trashy sexy fun.

The gracefully aging rock star sifted through hundreds of 20 something groupies vying for his love rock for three seasons, with no end in sight. The show brought us to new heights of implied sex in reality TV.

And Bret Michaels was involved in all of it. Then all of a sudden, a less awful, sober, really likable, Bret Michaels appeared on the always lovable NBC network on Celebrity Apprentice.

Just when America was falling in love with the misunderstood rocker, he suffered a sudden brain hemorrhage, and then a mild stroke.

But he prevailed and went on to win Celebrity Apprentice in fairly good spirits. Now he’s best friends with Donald Trump, preparing for heart surgery, and thinking about marrying his mysterious long-term girlfriend.

He performed at the season finale of all season finales, American Idol and is also reportedly in the running to replace Simon on Idol, next season. Bret Michaels for president in 2012!

Bret is amazing :)
Poison was such a great band!
And it's his real hair, he just has an extremely receding hairline. My dad and I figured that out while watching some show about him and his family.

I love Bret (: he is amazing and truly deserved to win Celebrity Apprentice. He was the only one who always gave it 100% and never spoke negatively about anyone. God he's brilliant :D
