Art You Freaking Kidding Me?

Skull

"For the Love of God"! A diamond encrusted platinum skull made by artist Damien Hirst cost $30,000,000 to make!

Damien Hirst

Damien Hirst...out of his mind?

For the Love of God

It is a Human Skull from the 18 century, covered in a Platinum cast encrusted with 8,601 Flawless Diamonds -- including a Pink Pear shaped Diamond in the center of the forehead weighing over 52 Carats! (That's like 50 nice engagement rings) He got the name when his father said to him "For the love of God, what will you do next?"

Cows

Hirst became famous in the 1990s by slicing cows and other animals in half and displaying them in formaldehyde.

Pills

Then he displayed a bunch of pills in a Pharmacy Cabinet.

Spin Art

Then he made Spin Art Paintings like the ones we made when we were kids. One of these is a Damien Hirst, one was made by a regular kid. Can you tell the difference?

Hint: Hirst is on the left.

$100,000,000

Is he Insane? Brilliant? Moronic? Hirst must know what he's doing, though, since "For the Love of God" sold for $100 Million Dollars!!

Ha Ha Ha!

Kay, I am studying art theory and Hurst came up. I'm raging a little about how his name isn't spelled correctly.

Damien Hurst. With a 'u'.

Also, this is all supposed to be considered in context.

It’s just like Hirst’s “masterpiece”, it just don’t have the shining stuff… You know, an insignificant detail… XD

Seriously, art is so relative these days! Anything is art since someone say so.
So… I have an entire skeleton in home. A femur is huge. How much will some art lover pay me for it? It’s just like Hirs

this is so stupid -____-" smart people would try to sell the diamonds individually for charity instead of making that and selling it as a collector's item. WTH r u really going to do with a diamond en
