The 6 Craziest Roller Coasters in the World
Have you ever lost your voice because you screamed so loud riding your favorite roller coaster? No? Then you haven’t ridden these crazy coasters. Going to an amusement park is one of our fave parts of summer and these six coasters from around the world will not only make you squeal in fear, but also have your stomach in knots of excitement.
6. Mindbender – Alberta, Canada
The summer heat too much for you to handle? You can go on the ride of your life AND stay cool. The Mindbender at the Galaxyland Amusement Park in Canada is a triple-loop coaster INSIDE A MALL! So that means after you get scared silly you can go shopping. Sounds like a win-win to us.
5. Millennium Force – Sandusky, Ohio
Try not to scream like a baby as you plunge 300 feet, then feel the g's as your body is hurled through two tunnels and a 122 degree loop. Raise your hands in the air – if you dare!
4. Desperado – Primm, Nevada
Heading to Las Vegas with your parents this summer? Take a break and stretch your legs in Primm, Nevada, it's totally worth your time. The Primadonna Hotel is home to one of the wildest coasters in the West. The coaster starts with a brief ride over the casion floor, then through the wall and outside and up, up, up to the top where you will take a 225-foot plunge - at the top you are higher than the the hotel, you're literally looking down at the roof of their hotel and then you and a car full of tourists drop down into the earth - into an underground tunnel of blackness. You can literally feel your internal organs shift inside you. I speak from experience.
3. Oblivion - Staffordshire, England
Are you friggin' kidding me with this? If you’re afraid of heights then the Oblivion is not the coaster from you. That’s because it literally drops 180 feet into a hole in the ground. Hold on tight and try not to pee your pants before you take the plunge. Might be a good idea to wear an adult Depends diaper just to be safe.
2. Eejanaika - Fujiyoshida, Japan
Don’t eat lunch before going on this fourth dimension coaster which spins 360 degrees and gets up to speeds of 78 mph. You literally have no control of your body. The G force alone will make it pretty much impossible for you to raise your hands over your head.
1. Kingda Ka – Jackson Township, New Jersey
Do you have a death wish? Do you have the guts to jump on the fastest roller coaster in the United States? Then you need to head to the Garden State which is home to the Kingda Ka. This bad boy gets up to 128 mph in 3.5 seconds, so get ready to hold on tight!
