Epic Movie Team-Ups We'd Like To See
I haven’t seen it, but I think “The Expendables” is about a group of mercenaries teaming up for a game of shuffleboard and a van-pool to the “early bird special” at Shoney’s. Or maybe they fight an evil dictator.
I’m not sure. I just know that Sylvester Stallone is 64 and his Ensure is probably spiked with human growth hormone.
But this movie is a great idea! Get all the stars of different action movies together in one mega-action movie. I don’t know why you would stop with just action films. If this is a hit, there are plenty of other great movie team-ups just waiting to happen. I’ve put together a few ideas, so if these get made, I’ll be expecting a big check from Hollywood.
Movie Where CG Animals Interact With Real People
This movie doesn’t really have a plot, but still makes $60 million its first weekend.
(Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd can’t get it together for Ghostbusters 3, but I bet both of them would do this. Lazy jerks.)
Romantic Comedy
Six women meet six guys they can’t stand and go on a train ride or something. What they didn’t count on, was falling in love.
“Bro” Comedy
A group of overweight man-children get distracted trying to buy weed, so they end up at a cheerleading camp. Everyone hooks up with a hot chick... (I’m surprised this movie hasn’t been pitched yet. Are they waiting for Michael Cera to put on some pounds?)
Movie Where A Black Dude Plays A Woman
They are six OUTRAGEOUS women, each more outrageous than the next! It’s a family reunion, so you know things are going to get outrageous! Also, they stop a bank robbery, and one of them dies, teaching an important lesson about friendship, family, and why Marlon Wayans isn’t that big of a star. A comedy for people that like seeing young men hit with purses.
Action Movie
A drug lord with a phobia of hair (Patrick Stewart) has just invented the ultimate weapon. Now, the CIA has one chance to save the world – three ex-cops with a chip on their shoulder and nothing on their scalp.
Vampire Movie
Some mopey vampire falls in love with some boring woman who isn’t a vampire, or maybe she’s a psychic or something. That happens three times in this movie. Opening weekend would be attended by 70 million ovaries.
