Justin Bieber Chops Off His Hair!

You know that Bieber hair... the hair we love to make fun of here on Smosh.

Ahhh yes, there it is. Well, it's gone! Bieber cut it off. Isn't that a sign of the apocalypse? Is this the end of times? Could it be true? Rumors filled the internet and Justin responded on Twitter.

But was it JUST a simple haircut? I mean, within minutes of Bieber's tweet, Never Say Never director Jon M. Chu tweeted...

Letting everyone know that there would be a special re-release of the film with 30 extra minutes of footage - though I'm hearing now that it might be more like 40 minutes and nobody will confirm it but some of those minutes might very well include footage of Justin Bieber getting his hair cut. Ya think? Jon M. Chu would only say, “I can’t confirm or deny those reports. Cameras are everywhere.”

So what does this amazing haircut look like?

Well, to be honest, it doesn't really look all THAT different than it did before. It's a little shorter and they put some gel in it and make it looks all messy, but I'm sure that it'll grow back in no time. Seems to me to be more of a publicity stunt than anything else. He's doing the talk show rounds, showing off his new hair cut and promoting the film.

Later in the show he sits down with DeGeneres and even gives her a lock of his hair saying, "Yes, it's really my hair, but there's a perk. I wanted to do something good. I'm giving pieces of it to different people," he explained. "The thing is, we're doing something special. We want you to donate it to whatever charity you want."

Looks like Bieber is quite the marketing genius. He cuts his hair, and hands it out to people as he goes around promoting the re-release of his film.

Never Say Never has already raised more than $51.3 million in tickets, and this re-release with the new footage is obviously gonna make a butt load more money. I mean, all those little teen aged girls have to go back and see it again now. You know they will.
