This Man Sold His Rare Yu-Gi-Oh! Cards NOT for More Yu-Gi-Oh! but for His Daughter

I promise, this will be the most adorable story you hear about Yu-Gi-Oh! all day. A Twitter user named KnightMiyabi tweeted that he was selling off his Blue Eyes White Dragons cards (and not the regular Blue Eyes White Dragons everyone had). And why is he doing this? So he can pay for his daughter's preschool.

I don't know what this text translates to, but I presume it's "she'd damn sure better appreciate this *grumble grumble*"

Usually when someone sells their rare collection, it's to pay rent. (I still miss you, collection of every NES game ever released stateside.)

According to Kotaku, these Blue Eyes White Dragons are "the highly rare promos given out at the Jump Festa in Japan in the year 2000" and "go for several thousands of dollars each". You can see then what a big sacrifice KnightMiyabi is making for his child — not only is he giving up a lot of money, but he'll probably never win another Yu-Gi-Oh duel again.

If you had a super-rare Blue Eyes White Dragon, what real-life situation would it take for you to sell it? Let us know on Twitter @Smosh!
