Madonna expressed disapproval of M.I.A.'s middle finger salute at the Superbowl last Sunday. Madonna, who is best known for being naked in public all the time and making a music video where she has sex with a black Jesus has called the gesture "inappropriate." But why did M.I.A. flip off the camera during her halft-time performance? Unlike Madonna, who jumped to conclusions, I think there are a number of possibilities.

Because she wanted attention so that's probably what she did to make it happen. She also flashed the camera.... But when she did flip the bird she was issued an apology to the people because kids were watching part of the Super Bowl also because it was just flat out rude.
