Idiotarod
Last week, over 400 idiots modified shopping carts, got dressed up in ridiculous costumes, and raced around the city of New York in below-freezing temperatures. What for? The annual IDIOTAROD, which pays "tribute" to the famous dog sled race of Alaska.

Horns for Haiti
Our intrepid Smosh Pit photographer Eric Harvey Brown was on-hand at the crazy "Horns for Haiti" benefit concert in NYC last week. It was a night of offbeat brass bands in weird uniforms, lots of dancers, and even this guy in a white suit named Reverend Billy who decided to show up.
