Many people dream of becoming models. Modeling is hard work and only a select few will make it.

For women, the ultimate goal is to become a super-model, strutting your stuff on the catwalk. For men, the highest achievement, almost always out of reach, is to become a male costume model.

Few complete this arduous journey but for the select few that do the rewards can be great.

Unlike their female counterparts in the modeling game, or actors who have multiple opportunities to communicate their role or character to an audience, the male costume model has one shot, one brief frame of film, to tell their audience who they are. Without this, a costume becomes a mere piece of colored cloth or plastic.

What follows is a tribute to the best of the best.
