Last week Star Trekaholics across the globe celebrated the birthday of the one and only Cap'n Kirk, and Smosh Pit photographer Eric Harvey Brown was on hand at the "Shat Ball" in NYC to get some pictures in honor of the actor who portrayed the galactic skipper.

The event featured a Kirk-aoke competition, special Kirk beverages, as well as Star Trek improv where a group of comedy nerds created a live episode of Trek based on audience suggestions.
